Here are a few of my favourite photos from Aoife and Rich’s amazing wedding at Rookery Manor. It was great to be part of their big day and to see so many familiar faces as I had the pleasure to photograph some of Aoife’s friends’ weddings. As you can see the weather was gorgeous an the guests had great fun. I look forward to photographing Aoife’s brother’s wedding in August.

What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding?
“I would advise brides to have as much input as they can to their wedding preparations, we worked together to put many personal touches to our day, which did not cost a lot but when we look back at the pictures and all our guests comments, it was all worth it. The final few weeks leading up to the wedding can become stressful even if you an organised person, the anxiety will catch up on you. I would advise brides to remain calm, make sure you have a few days off work before the wedding to wind down, have a beauty treatment, get your nails done, book in your tan, and enjoy time with your friends and family. The day , when it arrives, just goes to fast, you need to cherish every second, and take it all in. I would also advise on the wedding day to take at least 5/10 minutes with your new husband just to catch up on the day and make sure you both are OK, as you will have realised you do not actually get to spend much time together or chat to each other much through the day. After all it is your day!”
